GRAND ISLAND, Neb. - Five Mid-States Football Association players have been named to the College Fanz Sports Network 2009 NAIA Football All-American first team as voted on the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics coaches and the College Fanz Football Game of the Week broadcast team.

The ninth annual edition of the NAIA Football All-American team includes University of Sioux Falls quarterback Lorenzo Brown as the offensive player of the year and teammate Trevor Holleman, a defensive back, as the defensive player of the year. Brian Ward of McPherson College is the coach of the year.
