URBANA, Ohio (Nov. 12, 2007) – Urbana University’s Kirk Hannah and Jacob Harfman have been named the Mid-States Football Association Mideast Division Offensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively, for their outstanding play in Urbana’s season-finale win over Marian College, 42-14.Hannah, a junior running back from Miami, Fla., had a career day for the Blue Knights. He broke Urbana's single game record for rushing yards with his 224, which is also the second best rushing performance this season in the MSFA. Hannah had two rushing touchdowns against Marian, giving him 10 on the season, breaking the Blue Knight record for single season rushing TDs. Hannah also broke his own single season record for rushing yards with 1,112, breaking his own mark of 1,063 which he set last year. He is the first Urbana player to ever rush for 1,000 yards and has now done it in back-to-back seasons. Hannah has rushed for 2,201 yards in his career.

Harfman, a true freshman place kicker from Chino, Calif., broke Urbana's single-season record for PATs made with 29. He was a perfect 5-of-5 on PATs against Marian. Harfman also scored on an 18-yard rushing TD on mishandled snap on a 35-yard field goal attempt as time expired in the first half. He went on to score the extra point on his own TD.
